Network cabling done once, done properly

AMS Technology runs data cabling for offices, plazas, restaurants and schools across Toronto and the GTA: Cat6 to every desk, counter, camera and screen, the network cabinet with its switches and patch panels, and Wi-Fi access points in the ceiling. Because the same crew also installs the cameras, sound and TVs, the whole low-voltage job goes in on one schedule, with one number to call.

02 / Pricing

Cat6 data drops from $150

  • Cable pulled from the cabinet to the jack
  • Terminated at both ends and tested
  • Jack and port labelled with the same number
  • Ceiling and wall runs hidden, outside runs in conduit

Cabinets, switches, backup power and Wi-Fi are quoted with the job after a site walk.

Absolutely phenomenal service – Alaa and his team set up our clinic’s network and security system. They do very thorough work + gave great ideas of how to optimize my setup. I recommend these gentlemen to everyone after receiving their services.

Questions

Before you call

How much does a data drop cost in Toronto?

From $150 per Cat6 drop, pulled, terminated, tested and labelled. Cabinets, switches and Wi-Fi are quoted with the job after a site walk.

Can the cameras and Wi-Fi run on the same cabling plan?

Yes, and it is cheaper to plan them together. We run the camera, TV and data cables on the same visits.

Do you work in finished offices?

Yes. Cable goes through the ceiling and down inside the walls, and outside runs go in conduit.

Can you clean up a messy network cabinet?

Yes. We re-terminate, label and dress the cabinet so the next technician can read it.

Do you do new builds and plazas?

Yes. On new builds we pull the cable at rough-in, before the drywall, like at the Golden Gate plaza.

One crew

Other work we do

The same crew does all of it, so one call covers the whole job.
